Universitätsklinikum Aachen (UKA) through its Joint Research Center for Computational Biomedicine (JRC- COMBINE). JRC-COMBINE is a joint venture of RWTH Aachen University, RWTH Aachen University Hospital, and Bayer Technology Services. JRC-COMBINE focuses on developing advanced modelling technologies and systems biology approaches with expertise from industry and academia to provide tangible benefit for clinics, industry and society at large. Within JRC-Combine, the Systems biomedicine group contributes the development and application of computational methods to acquire a functional understanding of signalling networks and their deregulation in disease, and to apply this knowledge to develop novel therapeutics. This group has a leadership position in the DREAM initiative and coordination position in the EU-H2020 PrECISE (Personalized engine for Cancer integrative study and evaluation) consortium.
