The 2nd workshop took place on the 28th and 29th of September 2017, in Ludwigshafen at AbbVie premises (Germany). This workshop was scheduled as follow up on the 1st Workshop, January 2017.
The goals of this 2nd workshop were focused on the evaluation that all WPs have been doing during these early months of the project lifetime to move from the theoretical to the operational steps. Lessons learnt in this first phase helped to identify the key driven actions and how the coordination of WP3 (Data) and WP4 (Modelling) should work with the organ-based WPs (WP5-8, Liver, Kidney, Cardiovascular system and GI Immune system). The discussions brought up the criteria for a realistic selection of the most appropriate reference training/compounds for the prediction of safety liabilities of new/future medicines being developed by EFPIA partners.
